Zero22 Big Brand Logo

Zero22 was founded with a simple goal: to bring together high-quality, smart, and reliable gear for people who love to move, explore, and get outdoors.

Based in Aotearoa, we’re adventurers at heart with a deep respect for the whenua we’re lucky enough to call our backyard. From trail to road, mountain to coast, we believe the right gear enhances the experience - without overcomplicating it.

We’re proud to be the New Zealand distributors for a carefully curated range of performance-led brands including SunGod Sunglasses, Orange Mud Gear, Fractel Headwear, T8 Running Gear, Caterpy No-Tie Laces, Pickle Juice Anti-Cramp, Squirrel’s Nut Butter Anti-Chafe, That’s It Epic Skin Protection, and Tailwind Nutrition.

Alongside this, we also stock trusted favourites such as Skinnies Sun Protection, Goodr Sunglasses, EnduroBeet, Crafty Weka Bar, and CurraNZ.

Every product we carry is chosen with purpose. Because details matter - and so does the experience. From your first click to your next adventure, we’re here to make gearing up simple, inspiring, and rewarding.

Fibi Drew-Smith

Co-Founder and Chief Everything Officer

Kia ora, Fibi here - the creative force behind  ZERO22. I see myself as the heart & hustle of the brand.

Trail lover, fresh-air chaser, joy seeker and firm believer that a moving body is a thriving one.

Whether running, walking, lifting, or deep in a yoga flow, movement is my way of recharging - it's a chance to mentally offload and reconnect.

I'm a firm believer in “use it or lose it,” staying active is an investment in long-term health, strength, and mobility - and I'm always up for anything that involves a bit of fun along the way.

At the heart of ZERO22 is community, and that’s where I thrive. I'm a self-confessed extrovert and natural empath, people are truly 'my thing.' I love building relationships, supporting others, and creating a space where everyone feels part of something bigger.

I'm also deeply passionate about bringing world-class products to New Zealand, carefully selecting a curated range of global brands that align with us, and the kind of gear that actually earns it's place in your kit. No fluff, no filler!  From sustainability and innovation to quality you can genuinely trust.

And because adventure doesn’t live in a silo, we’ve built a range of complementary products designed to work together - whether you’re out for a quick hit on the trails or deep in a full-day mission.

Move well. Fuel well. Gear up properly.

See you out there,

Fibi xx

Mark Drew

Co-Founder and Chief Adventure Officer

I’m Mark - the engine room behind ZERO22 and the one working away on the business side of things.

That said, I’m not one to sit behind a desk for too long. I’m usually out at events, boots on the ground, connecting with people, talking gear, and backing the products we bring into New Zealand.

I spend a lot of my time building relationships - working with events and getting our brands into retail stores around the country. For me, it’s all about making sure the right products end up in the hands of people who’ll actually use and value them.

Outside of that, I’m always up for a challenge. Ultramarathons, biking, time in the gym - I’ll give most things a crack.

And then there’s Nepal… that place has well and truly got a hold on me.

I’ve been back a number of times now, drawn to the mountains, the people, and the perspective you get when you’re pushed right out of your comfort zone. I’ve made it to Everest Base Camp, taken on the Three Peaks, and mountain biked through Annapurna - experiences that stick with you and shape how you approach both life and business.

At ZERO22, I’m the one working to connect the dots - from brands, to stores, to events - making sure everything we do has purpose behind it.

Happy to be a part of such a cool journey,

Mark

Jordan Smith

Warehouse Jedi Master

Hey, I'm Jordan. Favourite son. I've been onboard for awhile now. I jumped in to help out in the family businesses as things were getting too busy for the old folks to handle.

I'm helping with orders, both customer and retail, so you usually get a personal message from me.

I have a background in art & design and love the opportunity to put this to good use. As most of you will know I created the design on our sister business, Tailwind NZ's, Kiwiana Tech Tee. I also designed the fearlessly bold ZERO22 Fractel cap. This is where I excel, as I love to stretch my creativity.

Even though I am not much of a sporting guy, I have attended a couple of events, I've found the community vibe, to be awesome AF! The folks keep giving me grief about running, it will be interesting to see how long I can hold out :)

I'm engaged to Nadia, she is the runner! You'll see her at some events as Mum has encouraged her to give them a go. We are the parents of 2 furbabies, Aayla and Maika, our beloved kitty cats.

It'll be great getting to meet more of you at future events, even though I'm more of an introvert, please don't hesitate to come chat with me. I look big and gruff but I'm actually pretty chill.

'May the force be with you.'

Amy Parker

Chief Marketing Queen

Kia Ora, I'm Amy. Recent addition and part of the marketing team here at ZERO22.

Where my passion for social media marketing and ZERO22 collided is kind of a funny story, one we laugh about often. It's no wonder we resonated with many shared kaupapa aligning - community orientation, trust, connection, seeking out the highest quality, the list goes on...

Growing a deep understanding for what we represent as a brand has been a privilege I will continue to share in our storytelling. It is to be unapologetically, fearlessly BOLD. In colour. In stance. In quality. In force.

In an exploding landscape of AI slop, my goal is to be a taste master that will cut through the noise, keeping us ahead of the game in an evolving tech landscape and making sure that you can find the best - trusted - gear on the market through our channels.

In my life outside of mahi, I love the sun, re-connecting with nature, and the air of adventure. My partner and I often do weighted rucks (crazy people I know, but maybe you can relate) up, down and round the hills of Wellington and afar. You'll often find me next to a freezing cold body of water, sauna, assault bike, or immersed in the heart of nature, and maybe I'll bump into you out there adventuring too!

Ngā mihi

Amy

Cooper Drew

Junior Inventory Runner

I'm not a fan of having my pic taken! But Mum said I had to write a couple of words about what I (casually) do.

I help with unpacking stock and loading shelves. I also label stock that needs to be labelled. Mum also makes me do some stock-taking when it's needed.

I am studying Film & Content Creation this year at Yoobee. It's pretty decent. I like the creative process of being a part of making short films.

Layla

Chief Fetch Officer

Layla is our four-legged field tester, snack enthusiast, and full-time morale manager.

She takes her role in quality control very seriously - particularly when it comes to anything remotely edible - and it's fair to say, operates under a strict “no snack left behind” policy.

When she’s not out on the trails, you’ll find her running an extremely efficient game of fetch operations, often recruiting unsuspecting visitors into extended play sessions. Participation is not optional, as many a visitor can attest to.

Her key strengths include elite-level ball obsession, an unwavering appetite, and an uncanny ability to keep us cheery - even on the busiest days.
