8KO® Iris Photochromic Lens Technology. SunGod’s 8KO® lens material is constructed from 2mm nylon, which is tougher, lighter and up to 70% clearer than industry-standard polycarbonate. These lenses also block 100% UVA and UVB radiation, meeting UV400 safety standards. SunGod’s Iris Photochromic lens technology allows lenses to react to varying light conditions, lightening or darkening their tint (VLT) in response to changing UV levels. In bright conditions the lens will darken, and in dull conditions it will lighten. These fast-changing lenses offer enhanced performance, with no lapse in vision for ultimate focus in training and on race day.
